Prime Minister Imran Khan fears that the Corona virus could destroy the economies of developing countries and noted that the rich economies are preparing to forgive the debt of the world’s poorest countries. Prime Minister Imran Khan has called on the international community to consider forgiving some debts for poor countries like Pakistan that are fighting the coronavirus. In a special interview to the US news agency Associated Press, the Prime Minister said that I am concerned about poverty and hunger. The lack of debt will help us overcome the virus, at least. Expressing concern, he said he was worried if the outbreak of the virus in Pakistan became severe. So the efforts their government has put in place to put the declining economy on its feet will begin to backfire.

The Prime Minister further said that exports will decrease, unemployment will increase and the burden of domestic debt will become unbearable. Continuing this, the Prime Minister said that this is not the only situation in Pakistan, but in my opinion India, the subcontinent and African countries. Referring to the virus, the Prime Minister said that if it spreads further, we would have problems with healthcare facilities, not only do we have the capacity; we do not have the resources.
