The number of deaths in the ongoing political conflicts between President Nicolas Maduro and the opposition in South American country Venezuela has risen to 106. The latest killings have occurred in the western state Merida and the capital Caracas. The opposition has declared a 48-hour strike in Venezuela. This strike starts from Wednesday 26th July. The opposition has opposed the election on Sunday, in which a new assembly is to be picked up. On the other hand, the US government has banned more than 13 people supporting the Maduro government.
