Gaza … News Time

The Israeli government began plotting to destroy peace in Palestine during Ramadan. According to Palestinian media, the occupying army detained 80 civilians in 3 days during the ongoing crackdown in Jerusalem. According to the report of the POW Study Center, the Zionist army brutally tortured civilians during raids in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Bab El-Amoud and other areas of Jerusalem. Occupying forces’ operations have created an atmosphere of intense tension in Jerusalem. Extremist Jewish groups are also increasingly attacking Palestinians. Israeli authorities are arresting Palestinian youth and children on a daily basis in Bab El-Amoud, Bab a-Zahara, Musrara, Sheikh Jarrah Colony and elsewhere. Executioners broke the bones of young people during torture in prisons and left several with serious injuries to the upper body. The Israeli army’s brutal actions left 17 children disabled.

According to news agencies, the Israeli army rained rockets on Gaza after the crackdown in Jerusalem. A statement issued by the Zionist army called the recent operation a response to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip. The statement claimed that Palestinian militants fired 30 rockets at Israel from Gaza. The Zionist army targeted underground infrastructure and rocket launchers in Gaza last night. Israeli tanks also took part in the operation. Fighter jets struck twice in the agricultural area of Matar, east of the southern city of Rafah. Warplanes also bombed targets in the northeastern Gaza Strip of Jabal al-Rayes, but no casualties were reported. Earlier, the Israeli military said rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel forced many families to seek refuge in special safe havens. Some of these rockets exploded in the air before reaching Israeli territory, while others were defused by the Iron Dome air defense system. On the other hand, the resistance organization Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades claimed responsibility for the rockets fired at Israel.
