The UN World Food Friday urged the international community to do more to alleviate hunger. The United Nations says about 80 million people in the world to eat food is not needed. UN says nearly 25 percent of Africa’s sub-Saharan region is facing severe hunger and particularly the situation in southern Sudan is very serious. The world’s newest country, South Sudan became independent in Hejorama 2011. Two years before the outbreak of ethnic conflict in the country once the fighting continues. UN says 46 million people in Southern Sudan are at risk of hunger 2 lakh 50 thousand children are severely malnourished. UN World Food Program Executive Director Ertharin Cousin says Peaceful world that everyone should make every effort to establish her.
