North Korea, despite global doubts, has once again insisted that their country is free from coronavirus. According to Arab media, Pak Myong Su, director of North Korea’s counter-epidemic headquarters, insisted that these efforts to protect the country from coronaviruses were completely successful. He said that not a single person has been infected with the virus till now. He said that we had taken advance and scientific measures, including investigating and quarantining all the people entering the country, sterilizing all things, closing borders and closing the maritime and air routes. North Korea is particularly vulnerable to coronavirus because of its weak medical system and global sanctions, experts say due to global sanctions, the country is also facing food shortages. According to the UN estimates, about 10.3 of North Korea’s population is about half the population, and 41 percent of the population is malnourished. In March, North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un personally wrote to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, which broke months of diplomatic silence.
