British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has approved the Brexit deal in the British Parliament. The British news agency Reuters report approved the Brexit deal is the first step in fulfilling Brexit’s commitment to the European Union from January 31 until the election by Boris Johnson. In the British Parliament, 358 legislators supported the agreement, while 234 voted in opposition, identifying the majority of Boris Johnson in Parliament, which will ensure a smooth ratification of the agreement to implement the largest transfer of UK policy after more than 40 years.

It is to be noted that more than 3 years ago the UK voted to leave the European Union through a referendum in 2016. After which the deep uncertainty about Brexit has now turned into a strong deadline at the end of January. The British Prime Minister will then discuss the trade agreement with the European Union. Boris Johnson’s goal was to get the Brexit vote before Christmas that they are now free to push Brexit, despite constant criticism from opposition lawmakers on the contrary, former Prime Minister Theresa May had to resign as a failure in this regard.

Before the Brexit deal, Boris Johnson told Parliament that this is the time to move on and eliminate the old labels of leave or stay, now is the time to work together like a united nation, a UK. He said it was time to write a new and exciting chapter of our nation’s story, to establish a new partnership with our European friends, to stand high in the world and to launch what the people of this country are eagerly waiting for. The Brexit deal will be ratified after Christmas, where the lower house of the British Parliament will endorse the Bill of Legislation or Separation Agreement until 9 January. After that it will take more than 3 weeks to pass the upper house and receive Royal Ascent.

The European Commission, on the other hand, said it was ready to take formal action on its behalf. Boris Johnson, the 650-member lower house, has a majority of 365 Conservative legislators however; some members of the opposition criticized the parliament for missing the opportunity to monitor the British Prime Minister’s negotiating priorities in the next phase of negotiations. Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the opposition Labor Party, called it a horror. “This agreement does not create uncertainty for communities, businesses or the workforce,” he said. In fact, this is the opposite and next year increases the risk of Brexit without compromise.

It is to be noted that in the UK general election, the ruling Conservative Party was able to win 365 out of 650 seats in parliament. Of the 650 seats in the British parliament, the Conservative Party was predicted to win 368 seats; however, he won only three seats, 365 less than predicted. The number of seats the Conservative Party receives in the recent general election is 47 more than in the previous election.
