Angry protesters marched through Hong Kong Monday against what they described as suppression by Beijing, days after Chinese authorities ruled that part of a city rail station would come under mainland law.A country between semi-autonomous Hong Kong, Beijing and Britain was handed over to China in 1997 after the two-day agreement. Expressions and judgments in Hong Kong are not subject to Chinese law however, after various Chinese measures in recent times; the impression in Hong Kong is that the semi-autonomous city’s position is in danger.
