The target of Toyota Motor Group is to sell approximately 10.5 million vehicles in the global market in 2018. This group includes Daihatsu and Hino. Its sales target has exceeded 1.34 million in the last 5 years. Toyota plans to increase sales in other countries including China and Southeast Asia. The company hopes its sale in Japan will reduce 113000 units because ninety years of new models will reduce its sales. Only Toyota is making about 31 lakh vehicles in its own factory in Japan. The institution says it is necessary to maintain this level of production in order to maintain jobs and to survive its technical competitiveness.
