Pyeongchang … News Time

The International Olympic Committee has banned Russia’s upcoming Olympic Games held in Pyeongchang, South Korea, next year, due to Doping. However, those Athletics of Russia who can prove that they are not involved in the Doping will be allowed to attend competitions in South Korea under the Neutral flag. Russia hosted Sochi’s Winter Olympics in 2014 and during this period, the investigations were started after receiving Doping complaints in official patriarch. The IOC Chairman Thomas and his board announced the decision on Tuesday after reading 17 months of investigation reports and suggestions. It is clear that the suspects were investigated for 17 months under the leadership of former Swiss president Samuel Schmid. Russia’s Olympic Committee has been suspended, but the IOC has said that Russian players will be invited to participate in the game in February (Russia’s Olympic Athlete). Despite Russia’s continuous denial, Samuel Schmid’s report found evidence of “manipulation” in Russian anti-doping rules and systems. Thomas said that this is an attack on the honesty of Olympic Games and sports which is not the case. After this incident, Anti-Doping Mechanism needs to be fixed. All this happened when Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov questioned. It is clear that Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov was Russia’s anti doping laboratory director during the Winter Olympics in 2014. He accused Russia of running a regular Doping program for his players and claimed that Russia made a medicine that helps improve the performance of the player. After the allegations came out, the World Counter Doping Agency, who served Canada-based sports lawyer Dr. Richard McLaren, investigated. South Korea will start winter sports from February 9 next year.
