Japan’s prefecture of Kagoshima explodes with volcanic mountain Shindake

Tokyo … News Time

In Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture (prefecture of Kagoshima), the volcanic mountain Shindake burst, causing smoke and ash clouds to reach 7,000 meters high, while large volcanoes caused by the volcanic eruption also fell to a distance of 600 meters. No casualties were reported, however. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JME), the volcanic mountain Shindake exploded on the island of Kuchinoerabu at around 5.30pm local time on Monday morning. As a result, large rocks from the volcano flew down the slopes up to 900 meters, flying 600 meters southwest. Clouds of ash and smoke were visible up to 7,000 meters away, but there is no danger to residential areas from the volcano. The Metrological Agency has warned climbers to stay away from the volcanic mountain. After the volcano erupted, the range of ash and small rocks was proportional to the wind, the company said.
