The United States has consistently targeted criticism of projects under CPEC in Pakistan

News Time

The United States has consistently targeted criticism of projects under CPEC in Pakistan. US officials have previously said that under the CPEC, contracts were awarded to companies blacklisted by the United States. Then it was stated that the increase in debt burden on Pakistan was due to CPEC. Whether the CPEC is useful or harmful to Pakistan, it is only the Pakistani people who have the right to decide. It is America’s general attitude that he not only gives his opinion in every case of Pakistan but also tries to impose it. If a company operating on a project under CPEC in Pakistan is blacklisted by the US, then what does it have to do with Pakistan? The company is blacklisted by the US, not Pakistan. Will the United States respect Pakistan’s decision to blacklist the company which Pakistan has blacklisted? The practical situation is that the United States serves as a shelter for anyone who is guilty of Pakistan.

Pakistani daughter Dr Aafia Siddiqui was abducted from Pakistan and kept in jail at Bagram Airbase just as she was before. And then he was brought to America and told that he had taken a gun from an American soldier and tried to kill him. And in this stupid trial, the US court sentenced 80 years. It can be inferred how the US has behaved with Pakistan. The United States made full use of Pakistan’s resources to invade Afghanistan. Before using these resources, the United States promised to pay for expenses that had not yet been fulfilled.

The transfer of American equipment from Karachi to Afghanistan and the heavy trawlers used to transport the Karachi port from Afghanistan caused the breakdown of all major roads. The roads have now been reconstructed under the CPEC project, with heavy debt being levied on the Pakistani nation. As promised, the construction costs for these roads were to be paid to the Pentagon or the US government, which the United States denied altogether. Similarly, the bill to use Pakistani airspace, which is more than Rs 7 billion, the US government has not yet paid as promised. These and many billions of such dollars are owed to the US government, which the US government is not paying despite its promise. In principle, the US government should not only address the damage done to Pakistan by the US government in Afghanistan after 9/11, but also the destruction of the economy due to the terrorist environment. Instead, Pakistan should be given special privileges to compensate for this.

Pakistan has been constantly demanding America that the US is not seeking assistance but trade for the restoration of the Pakistani economy but every time, American officials act quickly. Under these privileges Pakistani products should be provided with special access to the US market, special facilities should be provided to Pakistani students for admission to US educational institutions in the same way, the barriers to providing employment to US citizens in Pakistan should be eliminated. US calls Pakistan its ally, Trump calls Imran Khan Niazi his friend and seeks help from Pakistan to solve its problems in Afghanistan but Pakistan refuses to play a role in restoring peace and improving the economy. On the contrary, the United States practically demonstrates Pakistan’s anti-Islamic measures.

On several occasions, news has come out that American contractor Blackwater is involved in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. FATF Graylist: Pakistan’s economy is in turmoil; America can, at any moment, remove Pakistan from the FATF gray list and add it to the Green List. But the US-dominated FATF is launching a new order from Pakistan every day. Similarly, Mr. Trump speaks of the Kashmir solution, but in practice his stubbornness is for Modi. For the first time, when Trump offered his mediation services to resolve the Kashmir issue, it was shortly after Modi eliminated the special status of occupied Kashmir. Now in Davos, the United States has served as a mediator in the Kashmir issue. Based on previous experience, new concerns have arisen.

It would be better to ask the US to look into its own affairs and refrain from commenting on Pakistan’s affairs. The damage done in the US war against so-called terrorism must be fined. If the US pays the bill for the damages inflicted to Pakistan, then Pakistan will not have to bow to the IMF or the World Bank. The US should not target Pakistan in opposition to China. China has also condemned US intervention in the Sea Pack. China says the United States, which has a rotating stick of sanctions, does it for its own political interests.
