US Ambassador Nikki Haley criticized Iran at a UN Security Council meeting held in the Middle East. The meeting held every three months later on Wednesday. There were 40 representatives present in the meeting. US Ambassador Nikki Haley blamed Iran to provide weapons to the troubled areas of Syria, Lebanon and Yemen, violating UN resolutions. Iran cannot provide traditional weapons under the contracts. Nikki Haley said his country could not ignore the violations. He told the Security Council to adopt a tough stand against Iran. He did not mention the Israeli Palestinian issue, which was considered as the main theme of discussion at the meeting. Before his statement, US President Donald Trump refused to confirm it that Iran is operating according to nuclear deal in 2015. America is also a part of this agreement. Russia and China’s delegates expressed concern over Nikki Haley’s statement in the United Nations and pointed out that Iran was not involved in this agenda. The representatives of Britain and Japan reiterated their position that the nuclear deal should be respected.
