According to media reports, the head of Iran’s central bank has confirmed that the United States has allowed Iran to transfer funds to buy corona vaccine from other countries. Iranian Central Bank Governor Abdul Nasr Hamati said the central bank had received approval from the US Treasury Department’s Foreign Assets Control Office to pay the Swiss bank for the purchase of the vaccine. Abdolnaser Hemmati said that the United States has banned all our banks, so they have approved this case only in the context of global pressure. He said Iran would initially pay 24 244 million in 16.8 million doses to buy the corona vaccine. Iranian officials say 190 economies around the world have agreed to buy the vaccine, but US sanctions are hampering payments to the company. On the other hand, the US did not respond to the statement of the governor of the Iranian Central Bank.
