New York… News Time

Indian media say the UN Security Council has allowed banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed to withdraw money from a bank account. However, the news could not be confirmed by the Security Council or any other credible source. According to Indian media, 3 persons, including Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, have been requested by the Security Council to be the sole sponsor of his family; Pakistani government’s bank accounts have been frozen due to problems with family finances. So they should be allowed to withdraw money from their bank accounts for daily expenses. No one has objected to Hafiz Saeed’s request to the UN, which the Security Council Committee approved, and allowed Hafiz Saeed, Haji Mohammad Ashraf and Zafar Iqbal to withdraw Rs. 1.5 million a month from frozen accounts for basic needs. It should be noted that Hafiz Mohammad Saeed has been declared a global terrorist due to which his accounts are frozen and he is in jail for terrorism cases.
