Washington … News Time

The US government has decided to allow the Palestinian diplomatic mission to be opened in Washington. Previously the United States had warned the closure of the office. The US administration November 17 informed the Freedom Palestine, PLO that it would close the office. He referred to an American law, which requires that if the organization attempts to investigate Israeli officials from the International Criminal Court, the mission should be closed. The State Department has said that authorities have directed PLO instead that they should limit their activities to Israel related to the pursuit of peace. A foreign ministry spokesperson has said that these restrictions can end up after 90 days although the President Donald Trumpe determines that Palestinians are involved in direct and meaningful talks with Israel. The spokesperson further added that the United States is confident that at the end of the 90-day visit, the PLO’s office will be allowed to restart the entire activities. The initial announcement to close the PLO office was seen by the Trump Administration as an attempt to suppress peace talks with Israel on freedom-free Palestine.
