Elyes Fakhfakh, the nominee of the Tunisian Arab country, has succeeded in forming the government after consulting and negotiating with various political parties for a month. The new Tunisian government also includes a religious political party, the Ennahda. It is thought that the Tunisian president invited Elyes Fakhfakh a month ago to form a cabinet after which he began to reconcile with various political parties.

Elyes Fakhfakh said the new government consisted of a broad coalition of different political parties, senior independent leaders and political figures. He said the new government would represent all Tunisian classes. In our view, there will be a mission to restore the welfare of the people and the confidence of the Tunisian people, for which the new government will continue to struggle. In the cabinet of Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh, 29 ministers from different political parties have been assigned to ministries of ministries. The Islamist Religious Political Movement (Ennahda) has been given seven ministries in the cabinet. Some of them have been fired at ministries in the previous government. Abdullatif Almalki has been given the Health Ministries. The Democratic Party secured 3 ministries. Two ministries have been given to Tahya Tounes and Awami Tahreek. El Badil and Nada Tunis were given one ministry each. Other ministries have been given to independent members.
