The number of tourists arriving in Japan during the month November exceeded 2.37 million records. Japan’s National Tourism Organization announced on Wednesday that an estimated 2.37 million foreign tourists came to Japan last month. The number is 26.8 percent more than a year ago. Ahikiko Tamura, head of Japan’s Department of Tourism, told in a news conference, this year, the overall number of foreign tourists is expected to reach around 28.5 million. But he also emphasized that those tourists should be attracted to the maximum purchase.
