Iran’s opposition has claimed that more than 400 protesters have been killed in attacks by security forces during a nationwide protest against the government in recent years. Iranian National Resistance Council spokesman Shaheen Qabadi said in a statement on Twitter that the number of protesters in Iran has reached 400 however, he said that so far 400 protesters have been confirmed dead, but the actual number is much higher. Earlier on Monday, Amnesty International reported that at least 143 protesters were killed across Iran in a demonstration following the November 15 increase in fuel prices.
