Doha … News Time

Taliban warns after US announces Afghan peace process talks if Washington prefers war over peace, then the Taliban are ready for war. Taliban spokesman Mohammad Sohail Shaheen in Doha pointed to the attacks, instructing the Afghan people to stay away from the campaign and voting. Interviewing a foreign broadcaster, he said, “We do not recognize elections because the US established its domination through elections after the invasion of Afghanistan.” It is understood that the United States sent its troops to Afghanistan after the September 11, 2001 attacks by Al-Qaeda.

Sohail Shaheen made it clear that the people of Afghanistan will decide the style of government in Afghanistan and we will be obliged to recognize their decision but this will only be possible if the foreign troops are overthrown. To a question, Sohail Shaheen replied that all matters related to the Afghan peace process had been finalized and in this connection, the three sides of the agreement were with the Qatar government, the United States and us. It should be noted that Zalmay Khalilzad was representing the United States in the Afghan peace process negotiations.

The spokesman further said that at least 23 foreign ministers were invited to attend a peace deal in Qatar. Under the scheduled program, inter-Afghan talks were scheduled to begin on the 23rd, he said. It should be noted that if this agreement was reached, the United States would likely plan to gradually withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. Whereas, the Taliban would guarantee that Afghanistan would not be a refuge for any other militant groups in the future. However, on September 8, President Donald Trump surprised everyone by announcing that he had invited senior Taliban leadership and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to meet at Camp David, but at the last minute, they canceled the talks over the death of 12 people, including an American soldier, in a Taliban attack. Reacting to this, Taliban spokesman in Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that Donald Trump suspended the series of talks. Now, however, the United States will suffer a significant loss compared to the past, but the door will still be open for future talks.

Are Taliban proxies of Pakistan?

On July 25, Sohail Shaheen had said that if he was invited to visit Pakistan, he would accept it and meet Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Taliban have been accused of being a proxy for Pakistan and will not be charged with the visit? Sohail Shaheen in reply to the question was made clear that those who have no other reason to fight against the Taliban should make such accusations because it has happened in the past and it will happen in the future. A spokesman for the Taliban’s political office on the Afghan peace process said that after the successful negotiations with external forces, the Afghan government and other Afghan parties would be called.

Presidential Elections in Afghanistan:

On the other hand, if we talk about the Afghan presidential election, there will be presidential elections in Afghanistan on September 28, which has a lot of hope for the current president, Ashraf Ghani. However, the Taliban in Afghanistan are strongly against this presidential election, and in the past few days, unrest in Afghanistan has seen a sharp rise. Afghans were warned by the Taliban not to vote in elections because they would target polling stations and election campaigns. Separate attacks on Kabul and President Ashraf Ghani’s election rally in Afghanistan September 17 this month killed 48 people. The first blast on that day was during Ashraf Ghani’s rally in the central province of Afghanistan in connection with the presidential election, 26 people were killed and 42 were injured in the explosion near the US Embassy in the middle of Kabul just an hour later. In which 22 people were killed and 38 were injured.
