Riots in prison prisoners in Brazil kill 52 and injure many, the bloody incident also revealed the separation of the heads of 16 people. Media reports report that inmates in the northern region of Brazil were incensed because of excessive incarceration in prison which led to the killing of one another. During this time the compound was also set on fire, many people died of smoke inhalation. Authorities called for more troops in the outbreak, but by the time they arrived, 52 people had lost their lives.

According to reports, 300 prisoners were kept in a 200-room jail. To be clear, this is not the first time an incident has occurred in a Brazilian prison, in May this year, at least 55 prisoners were killed as a result of riots in various prisons of the State of Amazonas.
