Talking about Azadi March, the chief JUIF said that our sit-in will not be a march, the duration of which will not be long, and the protesters will not be tired. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that there would be no deal or compromise on the stopping of the Azadi March and neither would he back down from the demand for the prime minister’s resignation. “There is no fear of arrest or detention and a response plan is ready if our central leadership is arrested,” he said. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, announced October 27 against rigging in the elections. Earlier, the instructions were issued by Maulana Rashid Soomro, JUI-F’s provincial governor, after which party leaders from other provinces also issued these instructions. At the same time, they have been instructed to remain peaceful during the Azadi March, to instruct others to remain peaceful, not to harm public and private property.

In order to remove obstacles from the road, ambulances have also been asked to keep a sufficient quantity of salt and water so that they can be used if the police fired tear gas. In addition, it will be necessary for the participant to have his / her national identity card with him, while no stranger will be allowed to attend the Azadi March. The aforesaid directive points to the construction of a tent in Islamabad, warning that participants should not use LPG cylinders there. It is reported that the Jamaat-e-Islami (F) sit-in in Islamabad can be at least 7 days, which is likely to be further extended.
