The government decided to file a reference in the Supreme Judicial Council against Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza for not taking oath from members of Sindh and Balochistan. Sources said that it has been decided to file a reference against Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza for not taking oath from two new Election Commission members appointed by the government. The government has completed legal counsel to file a reference against Sardar Raza Khan in the Supreme Judicial Council. The government contends that the Chief Election Commissioner refused to take oath from members of Sindh and Balochistan, not taking oaths by members appointed by the government is a violation of the Constitution, after which Sardar Raza is not fit for the post of Chief Election Commissioner. Sources say that in the government reference, Sardar Raza will be requested to be removed as the Chief Election Commissioner.
