A truck bombing in Kabul on September 5 killed at least 12 people.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that security forces have increased the city’s entryways and outposts. Preventing them from entering the capital in view of the threat of terrorist attacks. The statement said Afghan police forces were stationed on the entrances to the capital. The truck has been ordered to stop entering Kabul from 5pm yesterday. The statement said the wagons were also barred from entering the city until the elections were over. The Taliban said in a statement that they would do their utmost to curb this fake operation by targeting all security elements, offices and polling stations of US invaders and their puppets. The Taliban have warned Afghan citizens to stay away from polling stations on Election Day and do not endanger them.
