A severe hurricane is rising in Japan’s southwestern Kyushu region. According to the Japan Meteorological Department, as of 7pm on Monday, the tornado was 180 km above the sea south of Cape Ashizuri in Francisco, Kochi Prefecture. The storm is moving west to the northwest at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour. Authorities have indicated that the intensity of the hurricane will continue until Kyushu arrives and will hit the area early Tuesday morning.
