Ali Alizadeh, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, expressed happiness over the launch of train service between the three countries. The Azeri ambassador said that the train service between Islamabad, Tehran and Istanbul is going to start from 2021. This project is welcome for all the three countries and certainly the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan are considering how to develop Pakistan in the future. The Azerbaijani flag should also be included on the cargo train between Iran and Turkey. Ali Alizadeh, Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Pakistan, also shared the train route on his Twitter account. Ali Alizadeh is very popular among the Pakistani people for constantly presenting Azerbaijan’s position on social media during the Nagorno-Karabakh war and is considered an ambassador who strengthens fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

It should be noted that the operation was launched on September 27 by the Azerbaijani army. Armenia conceded defeat in the operation after liberating 5 cities, 4 towns and 286 villages from Armenian occupation. After the defeat, Armenia also signed an agreement to evacuate the remaining occupied territories of Aghdam, Lachin and Kalbejir. It should be noted that the ongoing war between Armenia and Azerbaijan began on September 27 with Armenian attacks on the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. In which 2783 military personnel were killed and more than 100 were missing. It should be noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh region has been a source of tension between the two countries since the 1990s. The area is internationally recognized as belonging to Azerbaijan, but was controlled by people of Armenian descent.
