The Panama Papers case came in 2016 that shook around the world. On 2 November 2016, the Supreme Court decided to make a judicial commission in the Panama case. In July 28, 2017, the Supreme Court ordered the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to submit a reference to NAB. On April 13, 2018, the Supreme Court described Article 62F under which Nawaz Sharif was declared as extortionist. On July 6, 2018, the NAB court sentenced Nawaz Sharif to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of £ 80 million in Avenfield.
