Jerusalem … News Time

More than 100 Israeli embassies around the world have closed protests for five days due to a mutual understanding of the Foreign Ministry and the Treasury. According to the International News Agency, Israel’s embassies and diplomatic missions in dozens of countries, including the United States and Germany, remain closed due to conflicts between the two ministries. Embassy activities are steep and strike banners are displayed at the gates. Israeli Foreign Ministry says the Ministry of Finance is violating the agreement with diplomatic staff as a result; we have been forced to close diplomatic missions around the world. The Israeli Foreign Ministry wrote in its tweet that consular services would not be provided at the diplomatic offices, nor would anyone be allowed to enter the diplomatic mission. Meanwhile, the Israeli Finance Ministry accused foreign officials of not paying taxes, saying diplomatic personnel should be taxed like ordinary citizens, but sadly they consider themselves above the law. It should be noted that diplomatic staff deployed to other countries in Israel were exempt from taxation for many years. The government, which had decided to abolish it, however, refused to comply with diplomatic staff on which an agreement was reached between the Ministry of Finance and the Foreign Ministry.
