Japan grants $ 2 million to Pakistan to deal with coronavirus according to a press release issued by the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad; the government of Japan has decided to give $ 1620000 million through UNICEF and $ 540000 million through the international organization IOM to cope with the coronavirus outbreak. Japan’s assistance will help improve the efficacy and therapeutic efficacy of coronavirus victims and prevent the spread of the outbreak.

Japan’s ambassador to Pakistan said that the government was making effective efforts to tackle the pandemic in Pakistan and the people. He said that Japan has always helped Pakistan in dealing with pandemic diseases. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Hamad Azhar has said that the Japanese government is grateful for its cooperation with Pakistan to cope with the coronavirus outbreak. In a message released on Twitter on Wednesday, he said, “We thank the Japanese government for a $ 2 million grant from UNICEF and IOM to tackle the coronavirus.” He said that in addition, Japan has allocated Rs 2.5 billion in non-government grants for public health projects which will be used to cope with the outbreak.
