The Al-Qabas newspaper in the Gulf state of Kuwait has claimed, citing sources, that Iranian Revolutionary Guards are transferring military equipment to Iraq. According to the newspaper, the guards have delivered short-range Arash missiles and Iranian-made drones to Iraq. The newspaper added that the missiles were actually in the possession of the Revolutionary Guards, while the drones were placed under tight security in the southern provinces of Iraq. According to Al-Qabas, Iranian missiles and drones were transferred to Iraq in two phases. In the first phase, they were transferred from Tehran to the Al-Quds Force-run Al-Kawthar military camp, located west of Ahvaz. In the second phase, they were taken to Iraq via a border crossing. Although missiles and drones have been housed in pro-Iranian Iraqi militia camps, however, they are under the control of Iranian elements under the control of Al-Quds Force. Earlier, the Israeli military revealed that Iran had expanded its capabilities in the region, especially in Iraq and Yemen. These include modern drones and long-range missiles. Israeli military spokesman General Yiday Zilberman said Israel was closely monitoring Tehran’s actions in the region and expected any possible Iranian attack from Iraq and Yemen.
