Imran Khan calls Mahathir and Erdogan in view of the current situation in occupied Kashmir

Prime Minister Imran Khan talks to his Malaysian counterpart and the Turkish president on the telephone separately the illegal action in India-occupied Kashmir will further worsen the situation in the region. PM talking to Malaysian counterpart Dr Mahathir Muhammad over telephone that India’s announcement of the status of the occupied Jammu and Kashmir is an open violation of the UN Security Council resolutions. Imran Khan also spoke to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the telephone and reaffirmed Pakistan’s diplomatic, moral and political support in its quest for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions. He said any illicit Indian action on changing Kashmir’s special status would have serious consequences for regional peace and security.
