According to sources, all the administrative matters of the JIT office in Karachi are in the last stages and all the JIT members have sought support staff from their respective institutions in the first phase of the investigation. While JIT has also completed security arrangements for this office, police and Rangers have also been deployed. Sources said the JIT of Fake Accounts Case has also requested the federal government to provide a fund of Rs. 2 Crores. Sources say that JIT will start calling all nominated suspects including former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur on Monday.

JIT will get all the options under the Criminal Criminal, NAB Ordinance, FIA Act and Anti-corruption laws for investigation. The Supreme Court has made it clear in its decision that all organizations should support JIT and JIT has been given the authority to hire any expert. The case is also important because this matter is about to be allegedly laundering billions of rupees and it is getting big names. Also, businessmen are being named in this case with the banking officers, Omni Group chief is accused of transmitting millions of rupees from fake accounts. Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur are also nominated in this case while the Supreme Court has suspended the investigation and judicial trials related to this case. JIT is investigating this case’s case and according to the Supreme Court order, JIT has to submit its report in every 15 days in court. The next hearing of the case will be in Supreme Court September 24.
