Meteorological Department Director General Dr Ghulam Rasool said while talking to The Express Tribune the heat wave that hit central and southern regions of the country will be and while little rain in these areas, while in the month of May there will be experiencing extreme heat. In Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan areas of Dr. Ghulam Rasool as the rains began last month. Meanwhile, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) spokesman said Ahmad Kamal NDMA is in full contact with the Met Office and to alert the relevant authorities in the country and was directed to take all possible steps to deal with the intense heat.
