Major political leaders will collapse each other in the 2018 election battle Imran Khan’s Saad Rafiq and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be a big contest. For the general elections, every party has put its own constituency in the field but there are few circles of the National Assembly. Whereas strong candidates from both sides are getting into the field, there is an interesting competition between them.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan is contesting from 5 constituencies of the National Assembly but his biggest counterpart, Saad Rafiq, the main leader of the Muslim League (N) in NA-131 constituency of Lahore and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be from Islamabad’s NA-53 constituency while Imran Khan’s former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akram Durani will face the Bannu constituency NA-35.
PML-N Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will contest from 4 constituencies of the National Assembly. In Karachi NA-249, Faisal Wada of Tahreek-e Insafand will contest from Lahore’s constituency NA-132 to Mansha Sindhu while PML-N president Dera Ghazi Khan and Swat are contesting elections.
Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is coming to the field of election for the first time, he will contest from four constituencies of the National Assembly. But Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s big contest will be from the PML-N’s Saleem Zia in Karachi’s NA-246.
PML-N Nawaz Sharif’s PML-N will also contest the first election of life; they will face PTI’s Jamshed Iqbal Cheema in the NA-127 constituency of Lahore while withdrawing his papers from NA 125, where PTI’s Yasmin Rashid has emerged as a strong candidate.
The Lahore constituency of NA 129 will be able to compete against former Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq and Alei Khan of PTI; Ayaz Sadiq defeated Aleem Khan in a very low margin.
Sialkot constituency NA-73 is also expected to compete in Khawaja Asif and Usman Dar, the election of the constituency NAA 38 of Dera Ismail Khan is also being considered important whereas the PPP’s Faisal Kareem Kundi has been in favor of PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur, now Ali Amin will compete with Gandana’s Gandana Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
