China reduced oil supply to North Korea

Beijing … News Time

China has restricted oil exports to North Korea after the sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council. According to international media reports, China has not only limited trade to North Korea under UN prohibited sanctions. But also has decided to stop export of petroleum products including Pyongyang supply of fuel. China’s trade minister said in his statement Beijing will ban export of petroleum products to Pyongyang from 1October while supply of liquid natural gas (LNG) is also being suspended immediately. In addition, it has also been decided to not import textile products from North Korea. Textile products include the last major North Korean imports affected by UN sanctions while China has already suspended purchase of raw iron, seafood and other products including coal from North Korea. It is clear that the United Nations Security Council approved unanimously to ban new sanctions against North Korea last week. Under which oil exports have been restricted to North Korea, while exporting textile products is banned. It is believed that North Korea has already imposed economic sanctions on the United Nations so that global pressures can be increased to prevent progress on nuclear program.
