Altaf Hussain upholds Modi’s decision to abolish autonomous Kashmir status and enforce cruel curfew, founder MQM says Prime Minister wishes Modi well because he has saved Kashmir’s mothers and daughters by doing so; people in Kashmir are not free in Pakistan. According to details, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain welcomed the Indian government’s move to abolish Article 370 in Kashmir in an exclusive interview to an Indian TV channel. He said that after all that has been done in occupied Kashmir, he has good wishes for Prime Minister Modi.

 It should be noted that in a recent speech, Altaf Hussain had appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give him and his colleague’s political asylum. Altaf Hussain is of the view that since his ancestors was from India, he should be allowed to live in India. This is not the first time that Altaf Hussain has appealed to the Indian government for help. Altaf Hussain’s statement came in March 2017, in which he appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help refugees in Pakistan. According to him, the refugees based in Pakistan are actually Indians, so Prime Minister Modi must voice their rights. It was also clear that Scotland Yard police in London had registered a case against Altaf Hussain under terrorism provisions. The Metropolitan Police said in its statement that the case against 66-year-old Altaf Hussain was lodged under Section 1 (2) of the Terrorism Act 2006. The trial against Altaf Hussain will begin next year and he is likely to be sentenced to 15 years in prison.
