The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) list of most wanted suspects has come to light, which includes the names of 1,210 wanted suspects from across the country. According to the FIA ​​list, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain is also a wanted terrorist in the provocative speech case. Apart from Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Anwar is also wanted by the FIA ​​in the case. The list of most wanted accused also includes PML-N leader Nasir Mahmood Butt, whose name was added to the list after the judge’s video scandal. The list also includes those accused of carrying out suicide attacks on former President Pervez Musharraf, former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Shuja Khanzada. The list also includes those involved in the kidnapping of Ali Haider Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. The FIA ​​has also added the accused named in the Mumbai attack case to the list. In terms of provinces, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the highest number of 737 most wanted accused in the list. After that, 161 accused from Balochistan, 122 from Punjab, 100 from Sindh and 32 from Islamabad are wanted by the FIA. In the FIA ​​list, 30 accused from Gilgit-Baltistan are also wanted by the FIA.

London-based MQM founder Altaf Hussain, 27, is facing various inquiries during his self-imposed exile and was first arrested by Scotland Yard on June 3, 2014 during a money laundering investigation. However, he was later released on bail. In 2016, British authorities dropped money laundering investigations and returned money recovered during raids on Altaf Hussain’s home and office in 2014. Not only that, but Altaf Hussain also faced questions during the investigation into the murder of MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq. It should be noted that apart from banning media coverage of Altaf Hussain by the court, his party in Pakistan had to declare its disassociation with him after a provocative speech made at the Karachi Press Club on August 22.
