In Turkey, 70 moderators of various political parties submitted requests to join the ruling AK Party. According to a foreign news agency, the transfer of 70 mayors of various political parties to Turkey has been completed who applied for joining the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party). Applicants include the District and City Opposition parties and the Independent candidates’ candidates, representing about 2.5 million citizens.

Bülent Turan, deputy chairman of AK Party Group, said in a statement January 10 that close to 100 moderates will join the ruling party however, AK Party sources have said that 35 of the 85 moderators have been accepted to meet the criteria for joining the party. The first request to join the AK Party was submitted by Mayor Mustafa İlmek and his councilors, the district district of Enseوu, belonging to the Good Party. This was followed by Senator Mayor Selahattin Denizoğlu of the Felicity Party district, and Mayor Hüseyin Açmaz, the Böcekli district Republican People’s Party district boss. It should be noted that AK Party meeting was held in December last year in which the exchange and selection of various applicants of the country was taken into account, depending on the criteria for joining the party.
