The 26-year-old black beauty Zozibini Tunzi was crowned winner in the final of the 68th Miss Universe competition held in the United States yesterday. While Miss Puerto Rico and Miss Mexico finished second and third respectively. The competition was attended by 90 beautys from around the world representing their respective countries. The panel consisting of 7 female judges decided the winner. After decorating the crown of Miss Universe on her head, Zozibini Tunzi made an emotional speech, saying, I was born into a world where I looked, skin like me and a woman like me was never considered beautiful. I think today this thinking has been proven wrong. It is important to note that before Zozibini Tunzi 5 black women have won the Miss Universe competition,who received the honor of Miss Universe. Angola’s Leila Lopes won the Miss Universe title in 2011 before Zozibini Tunzi.
