In the Islamabad accountability court, Al Azizia and Hill Metal references hearing in court were adjourned due to non-attendance of Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris on Dec. 4. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son of law Captain (R) Safdar presented in accountability court however, Nawaz Sharif requested the postponement of all three references to the lawyer’s absence. The judge of Islamabad’s Accountability Court, Justice Muhammad Bashir, is hearing Al Azizia and Hill Metal references against Nawaz Sharif. The Islamabad High Court has reserved the decision on the request of all three references. After the suspension of the hearing, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned from the Judicial Academy. Earlier, Nawaz Sharif reached Islamabad to Lahore due to fury in accountability court. Last week Nawaz Sharif’s advocate team could not reach accountability court. Captain retired Safdar, the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son had told the court that no one could interact with Nawaz Sharif, Due to the closure of the road; the witness could not reach Lahore. The Accountability court judge, Muhammad Bashir, adjourned the hearing without any action but Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris did not even come to court today.
