Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan during World War II to pay tribute to those killed near Manila visited a war memorial. Japan’s Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko on completion of 60 years of diplomatic ties are visiting Philippines. Japan’s imperial couple located at Caliraya yesterday its first visited the memorial. Japan in 1973 in honor of those killed during the war memorial was built. The Emperor and Empress of Japan in World War II laid a wreath in memory of those who died. At the request of the royal couple visited the monument was covered in spots. The families of those who died during the war and there were 150 people, including former military personnel.
