Egypt’s conservative Islamic party Al-Nour has decided to support President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in presidential elections in March. Al-Nour Party’s head, Younes Makhyoun, said in a news conference in capital Cairo, the country’s economy, corruption, Human rights and anti-terrorism are highlighted on various issues and said that the current President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is capable of taking heavy responsibility for the presidency. And they can play a bridge between all the state institutions, including police, armed forces and parliament.

He said that the unity of the institutions will strengthen and it will be able to save the country from many threats. Hizb al-Nour also supported the armed forces’s former head Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in presidential elections held in 2014. And consequently no action was taken against the workers of this party. Leaders from Salafi provocation set up this party in 2011 and he also won some seats in the parliamentary elections held in 2015.
