Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has said that we have also started to destroy the last stock of our chemical weapons. Putin declared this progress as a historical incident, saying that this action is being taken three years back from the scheduled time. In a statement on Russian TV channel 24, Putin said that the US is not making a decision regarding the release of chemical weapons. He clarified that the Washington administration has been relieving the destruction of the weapons three times by itself, not the financial resources.
