News Time

Today we are living in a digital age where it takes minutes to get any news from one corner of the world to the other, and through social media, within a few hours, positive and negative comments about it become commonplace. But 50 years ago when the United States sent its first human mission to the moon and Neil Armstrong made the first step on the moon, he made history. At that time, there were no faster communication channels or social media like today. So the questions and doubts raised about this mission in the beginning were limited to newspaper headlines. The only thing that was heard without evidence was to try to show that the first step on the moon was not a real one, but a movie filmed in a studio. 50 years ago, the public did not have the means of communication. So in this era, the acquisition of authentic information was possible only through books. Doubts about the Moon’s Travel First appeared in Bill Kaysing’s book, “We never went to the moon or man never went to the moon” in 1974.

Although Bill Kaysing was associated with Rocketdyne as a technical writer in the 1950s and was well-known in this regard, but he still tried to prove it by using the quote in the book Apollo 11 was actually a movie produced by a production studio called Area 11, which NASA showed as a live broadcast. The book became famous soon after when Bill Kaysing faced a debate about it so he admitted that his information about the Apollo mission, not just the rocket, was superficial. Nevertheless, he wrote in his book that the probability of this mission becoming a reality is only 0.0017%.With the publication of Bill Kaysing’s book, the number of people who knew the Apollo mission as a fake recording increased rapidly. A survey was conducted by a newspaper in 1971 when the number of Americans who believed in landings was 30 percent. However, in an authentic pool conducted in 1976, that number was 28%.That is, all attempts by NASA or the US government to inform the public about the truth were lost and the public considered it controversial. Shortly afterwards, Apollo and the mission once again became the center of public attention when technical objections were raised by the Flat Earth Society’s landing. And it was tried to prove that the landing movie that was shown live on TV was financed by Walt Disney, written by Arthur C. Clark.

It should be noted that the Flat Earth Society consists of members who do not believe the earth is round and claim that the earth is smooth. One of the major criticisms of this scandal was Capricorn One, a 1978 film made on the tour of Mars. Which were filmed scenes that closely resembled the Apollo landing? The film was sponsored by an anti-American lobby to promote hatred against the government in public. That is, they were trying to fool the public by displaying such fake landing missions instead of working for the welfare of the people. So people who did not have much scientific information began to consider the Apollo 11 mission to be fake and the process has long been over. The Soviet Union also launched a systematic campaign to counter Apollo 11 missions, in which the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Soviet scientists pushed the heels of denouncing the Apollo mission. For this purpose, a number of technical objections were raised on the mission’s release video, such as the American flag hoisting the air; pictures include the absence of stars in the sky and technical defects in Neil Armstrong’s space walk. Not only Apollo 11, then all the missions of the Apollo series sent to the moon was also forged. Although the public was unaware of the decades-long space walk between the United States and Russia and knew people with scientific information that Russia was far ahead of the US in space technology and fully committed to sending manned missions to the moon before Apollo 11, but strangely, Russia ended its mission to the moon after that, but it has always been lobbying to fake America’s moon mission, and the process continues.

A large number of people around the world still think the mission is fake. Such controversial news has been spreading all the time in Pakistan due to the inability of science and the importance of scientific news by the media. And did not make any specific attempt to disqualify them from educated constituencies and provide accurate information to the public. However, India also sent its mission to Chandrayaan-2 moon a few months ago and China also sent its space mission to the darkest level of the moon this year, but our people still go on to call Apollo 11 a fake.
