The head of the International Olympic Committee IOC has expressed commitment to be prepared for the committee to conduct the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Thomas Bach, head of the IOC, said this while speaking to reporters yesterday in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak. He rejected comments on the Tokyo Games alternative plan, saying he did not want to ignite rumors. Thomas Bach said the government is working closely with the organizing committee to ensure the safety of Japan, players and officials.
