Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced pre-election in the country. According to Turkish media, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President of the Alliance Party National Movement Party Devlet Bahceli in the presidency. While pressing the press conference, the Turkish President said that before taking a meeting with Devlet Bahceli, he has decided to make an election. President Erdogan said Turkey is still using the old system in Turkey even after the April 16 referendum. There is no problem in the coordination between the President and the government even then, the old system’s problems are facing us. We were in favor of living in the same system until November 2019 however, Syria’s cross-border operation and important events in Iraq have made it mandatory for Turkey to end up with uncertainty. He further said that, due to the problems faced by our country, we welcomed the offer for pre-election for Bazhchee. He said that there is a condition to remove the matter of election as soon as possible from the domestic agenda. So we decided to make the elections on June 24, 2018. The legal connection in this regard will be started at once and the Election Commission will also start preparations for the elections. Turkey’s opposition party Republican People’s Party welcomed the forthcoming election decision.
