Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is among the most favored leaders of the Muslim countries, while he is fifth in the world. Among the top leaders in the world, the German Chancellor is first and French President Macron Emmanuel Macron is second, while Russian President Putin is ahead of US President Trump. Gallup International surveyed the most popular head of state worldwide, according to which the Turkish president was the top leader in the Muslim world with 30% popularity, King Salman of Saudi Arabia was second with 25% popularity and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani popularity was third with 21%.

Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel was favored by 46 per cent of the poll and ranked as the most popular leader worldwide, while France’s second president, Emmanuel Macron Russian President Putin is third and US President Donald Trump is fourth with 31 percent popularity in the world. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Turkish President Erdogan both have 30 percent popularity, thus ranking fifth. It is important to note that Gallup International conducted this survey at the end of every year since 1977, this year 50 countries from all over the world were included in the survey.

According to a Gallup International poll, 50261 people from around the world were included in the survey, In November and December last year, about 1000 men and women were selected from each country, from whom interviews were conducted on face-to-face, online and telephone.
