17 years ago, the AQ party emerged as a new political party in the politics of modern Republic of Turkey. Who, having seen all the political parties of the country, has already won the elections in a big way. And by getting rid of many years of political turmoil and cohesion, the country alone paved the way for the power of the political party. AK Party In fact, some members of the Late Necmettin Erbakan political party Rafah Party, including the then Istanbul Mayor Rajab Tayyab Erdogan and his close associates, were on August 14 to raise a rebellion. Came into existence in 2001 and Erdogan was elected the first chairman of the party and in the manifesto of the party, the chairman was obliged to continue the party chairmanship for three periods. And at the end of that period, the chairman was forced to resign and to elect a new chairman. So that no one can be the chairman of the party for a lifetime on a regular basis. The AK Party’s principle was spread throughout Turkey, but unfortunately the AQ party itself changed the party manifesto and removed it from its manifesto. Those who formed the AQ party included Erdogan, Abdullah Gul, risdris Naim Şahin, Binali Yıldırım, Ali Babacan, Abdullatif Sener and Ahmet Davutoğlu. Erdogan lost part of the polls on November 3, 2002, 15 months after the party’s formation, after being sentenced to 8 months in prison for reading some poems. But his party achieved such success in the elections that the map of domestic politics was changing. And for the first time a political party managed to establish a single government with 34% of the vote. In the absence of Erdogan, Abdullah Gul was elected the first Prime Minister of the party. Abdullah Gul resigns after Erdogan’s release to win by-election and Erdogan took over the duties of the ministry and Abdullah Gul was given the post of Foreign Minister. Erdogan’s partner Abdullah Gul has been elected as the country’s new president, due to a presidential election crisis in the country. Ali Babacan first served as Foreign Minister and later Finance Minister while Ahmet Davutoğlu served as Erdogan’s Advisor to the High Commissioner. And later Erdogan took over as prime minister when he was elected president. Similarly, other directors, Abdullatif Sener, took over as deputy prime minister. Abdullatif Sener was the first leader to resign from the party due to differences with Prime Minister Erdogan.

The first two periods of Erdogan in which he served as Prime Minister. There are golden periods in the development of Turkey’s historyAnd Turkey was included in the list of G20 countries during those periods. In the first two periods, the policy of a zero-sum problem with neighbors, which was founded by Ahmed Dawood Ulo, made Turkey a peaceful country of the region. The country’s rapid development and successful foreign policy may have seemed daunting, or Turkey was deliberately trapped in the Syrian problem. That as a result of the financial difficulties faced by Pakistan in providing asylum to Syrian refugees in Turkey, now Turkey’s growth is also being badly affected by these refugees and annual growth rate has dropped to three percent.

Moreover, differences are emerging within the party after Erdogan was elected president, and former founding members of the party include Abdullah Gul, former Foreign Minister and former Finance Minister Ali Babacan. And former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu resigned from the party and decided to form a new party. The reason for the formation of a new party is that they have deviated from the basic principles of the party. According to him, the introduction of the presidential system in the country has lost its usefulness and current members of parliament are constantly complaining about not having access to ministers. Ali Babacan said in a statement that he would first take the country on the path of development as he has done before. Former President Abdullah Gul and several former members of the AQ party have announced to join Ali Babacan’s new party, along with promoting democracy in the country, politicians from both right and left will be included in the party. According to Ali Babacan, the AQ party has achieved all the goals that were so difficult to achieve in the so-called secular era. Therefore, there is a need to promote democracy in the country. Ali Babacan plans to come to power and restore the parliamentary system. Former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has not yet announced any new party he, however, resigned from the AQ party, accusing him of deviating from his party’s principles and embracing democracy. It is premature to say anything about how the new party wins the 2023 elections. But it is a fact that the elections after its formation will definitely matter to the AQ party and it will not be possible to get more than 50% of the vote and continue in power.
