Three heads of Japan Post Group companies have resigned in the wake of a scandalous sale of insurance policies. According to Japanese media, Japanese post-holding president Masatsugu Nagato, President Kunio Yokoyama and post-president Mitsuhiko Uehira are resigning after taking responsibility for suspicious sale of insurance policies while the number of other employees in the group is about 420,000. The group says the group’s internal investigation identified the sale of more than 12,000 such insurance policies of those who were suspected of violating law or company rules, 670 of them were confirmed to have violated.
