The All-Parties Conference (APC) of the political and religious parties belonging to the opposition will be held on August 19. JUI-F Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be chaired by the APC at 11am in the Federal Capital, Islamabad. According to a private report, the parties belonging to the opposition will consider the situation created on Kashmir issue at the party conference held tomorrow. And the Senate’s failed motion will examine the impact of antitrust. The APC will also discuss whether to set up a joint protest strategy against the current government.

Opposition against the Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, the chairman, was presented by the opposition, who suffered from failure despite having a majority. A spokesman for the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) said that leaders of opposition parties in the APC will attend. Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, the Emir of Jamiat-ul-Islam Islam (F), has been trying to unite opposition parties against the current government since the general elections held last year. In this regard, he held several meetings with former President Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Mian Shahbaz Sharif. But to date they have failed to consolidate all parties into one page.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has previously suggested that opposition parties should not take oath in assemblies but he was disputed by the major parties. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has warned the current government, demanding his resignation as well. That when they hold a sit-in in Islamabad in October, it will end at the end of the government. According to political observers, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will strive for All Parties Conference in Islamabad that they should persuade the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), in particular, to take full part in their protest.
