The devastating earthquake of October 8, 2005, was completed today for 12 years, in the wake of 7.6 magnitude earthquake, 80,000 people died in Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while lakhs were affected.According to official data only more than 3,000 people were killed in BalaKot. Today, the biggest event in Muzaffarabad was remembered in Muzaffarabad, during which at 8:00 am 52 minutes the silence was shifted to a minute. In the memorial of the October 8 earthquake, a prayer ceremony held at Government High School, 63 high school students were killed in the October 8 earthquake in Government High School Balakot. Total than 2800 government educational institutions were destroyed in Azad Kashmir from October 8, there was massive destruction in Muzaffarabad, Bagh and Rawalpindi, and more than 3 million houses were destroyed. During the earthquake, more than 18,000 children were killed by the school buildings collapse. However, despite passing 12 years, the construction program in Azad Kashmir is incomplete, out of the 7835 projects of construction, 2442 are awaiting completion of the project. On the other hand, construction of 212 destroyed schools destroyed in Mansehra could not be completed. 1132 schools of Mansehra district were destroyed in the 2005 accident, where thousands of students of Tehsil Balakot were martyred. And those who survived today are forced to compete with shelters or open skies against the harsh weather for acquisition knowledge. Most schools have not been built at Tehsil Nazim Rustam Khan, and children are studying in shelters or tents, and now the cold weather is coming, so how can they get education. People of Mansehra have been in the way of government for construction of schools for 12 years. Even today hundreds of destroyed schools are such where construction work could not begin due to lack of funds. The future of children, who lack education in Mansehra district or lack of education because of government’s compulsions, will always be a sign of rulers for rulers. A mosque event ceremony was held on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the earthquake. Prime Minister Raja Nisar laid flowers on the memorial shrine. The main function was organized in Khursheed Hasan Khursheed Stadium, siren was shipped in memory of martyrs  and a minute silence was taken, besides senior military and civilian officials besides the number of citizens participated. While the Azad Kashmir Police’s Chapel and greeted the memorandum of martyrdom. It is clear that in the 2005 earthquake, about one lakh people died and thousands were injured, and millions of people had to suffer from displacement.
